She wears a loose-fitting white shirt skimming over her feminine physique and attempts to question the causal connection between the male gaze as a model of power and the female exhibit as a bearer of gender. Her reluctance to ingratiate herself is a form of antagonism. Frequently corrected by a male voice-over \u2013 \u201cNo,\u201d the artist modifies her behaviours while shouting out \u201cwhat the hell,\u201d and \u201cdamn it\u201d, translated into Chinese and some other ugly words that do not belong to her mother tongue. By such mimicry, the artist has her female body constructed, training herself to be a qualified object being gazed at and intensifying her objectivity.
